Datalink Targeting share question

I've figured out how to have my wingman go forward and perform a recce and send target info through the datalink and storing them but how do i target them to engage? my SHKVAL TV screen remains dark. The targets are blue diamonds on the ABRIS map but i can't figure out how to slave my SHKVAL to them to blow them up.

Reset targeting mode to be clear.

Press the target type sent to you on the upper left datalink panel until the target you want is selected and blinking on ABRIS.

Then press DL Ingress on the datalink panel.

Then select weapon and Shkval Uncage (O) button without the helmet mounted sight.

Shkval might not be exactly on target. Adjust, laser on, lock, and fire.

To instruct wingmen first you send a target to them (type button, recipient number, send) and optionally a turn point. Then after you send them DL you get on radio and give them instruction engage target at the DL point you just sent. I forget exact sequence through the menu tree but it makes sense when you look.

The commands actually doesn't make sense and doesn't work as expected. I reported that as a bug awhile ago but never got confirmation.
