LackuJacku Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 I'm on a 1080 and an i7-9700k (overclocked 4.9ghz) and I have 16gb ram. It is not on my SSD and instead on my HDD, however people said that wouldn't be much of a problem. When loading into a multiplayer server my game goes into 'not responding' but it does eventually load into the server. When I finally load into my aircraft I straight up get like 10 fps and I can't even turn my camera even when the graphics are on the low preset. Can anyone help please?
Mars Exulte Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Depending on the server and the mission they're running 16GB of RAM is potentially a problem. 16 is the minimum, 32 is recommended. Also, whoever told you an SSD wouldn't matter should be completely disregarded in the future. It's been an established fact for YEARS that DCS is prone to stuttering on platter drives. Do you have similar issue offline in singleplayer? If not then it's the server and your ram. Де вороги, знайдуться козаки їх перемогти. 5800x3d * 3090 * 64gb * Reverb G2

LackuJacku Posted October 3, 2020 Author Posted October 3, 2020 Noticed a big difference, loaded in multiplayer in like 5 seconds. Game feels good now.
