New setup

Hi, I downloaded DCS to a 1TB SSD the computer a Ryzen 3700x 16 thread 16GBRAM Gigabyte 5700XT (should be ok for DCS).

 

When I open DCS it's in a window and by pressing ALT+Enter I get a full screen. BUT... I then have a narrow window within the full screen that cuts off the left and right divisions of the menu thus I'm unable to set up my controls. My screen resolution is 2560x1440.

Is there any hope to get this to work?

Might be good to check if your screen resolution within dcs option menu is set to the screen resolution of your monitor

Go in ...\Saved Games\DCS version\Config and find options.lua open it with Notepad++ (free) and find width and height change to match with resolution of your screen, or rename options.lua in options_old.lua and restart DCS, you'll have to rebuild your options

Thank you, that was helpful, but, I still have a problem. The screen is now full for my monitor and flying a plane looks ok. When I try to change an option like "pitch" the option box is a small square about 1/3 the size of the screen.

My monitor is set to 2560x1440 which I set into the options.lua.

Can you think of something else I can do to "fix" this problem?

Try set 1 screen instead of 3. And change screen ratio to 16:10 or 16:9 instead of 5:4
