Guys,

Got into DCS recently and wanted new skins for the Mirage 2000C ... Why is it so difficult?

after reading different posts I finally double installed them into:

C:\Users\MyName\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\aircraft\M-2000C\Liveries

and into:

C:\Users\MyName\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\M-2000C

Well... sure the game sees them as the ground crew is happy to paint my airframe as I want BUT the mission editor sees NOTHING! Absolutely nothing

Surely there is a single directory this should go into and be visible by every component of DCS?

BTW...am on OpenBeta.

Thks for the single answer that rules them all (if such thing exists :smilewink:)

That isnt one of them.

It should work if you put it in saved games but if you want it in your main folder it should be in ..whatever\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\M-2000C\Liveries\M-2000C

If the game doesnt see them there is probably something wrong with the lua.

No need to double install .. the last location is the correct one ... provided you use DCS Open Beta .... if you are using DCS Stable then the path should be:

C:\Users\MyName\Saved Games\DCS\Liveries\M-2000C

(of course, if you are using the standard names for the saved games folder .. it can be customized to something else).

That is really strange .. I store my liveries on this path:

and on the Mission Editor I get the same:

Please, attach your dcs.log file to gather more clues about your issue.

Make sure the country you choose in ME have the Liveries you download available. Some downloadable liveries won´t be available to every country, you can check that in .Lua file inside the liveries, normally it´s at the end of the lines of .lua file.

Fagulha Bravo! You solved it. Country is the reason why they were not appearing in mission builder. Thanks a bunch
