Please post if you had problems last night connecting...

I didnt even see the server in server list, and by using manual method of entering IP adress i was geting conection interupted error. Other servers i could connect no problem at all.

My buddy Aries managed to connect, then exited and after that lost the server from server list. After using this command ipconfig flushdns in CMD window inside winxp, he managed to connect again.

It didnt work for me.

Yup, confirming over here...

...I suspect it was our core ISP's problem... cause on the remote desktop of our squadron server I could normally see the 373rd server in the list, that server is on another ISP's network.

Fortunately, I managed to get in... the server magically reappeared in my master list after the "ipconfig /flushdns" command... but maybe it didn't matter at all...

All in all, seems like bad luck... :) I think we should make a rule that:

ALL PARTICIPANTS JOIN SERVER 5 MINUTES BEFORE MISSION START AND WHOEVER IS NOT IN IS FUBARED... LOL

Cause from our experience, later hopping in by other players just desynces everything and brings lag and the server down, which is exactly what happened last night, methinks...

Nevertheless, it was great fun... ;)

Yeah, I'd say close the server for additional participants after the mission starts. Although I had like 4 disconnects and had to reconnect again so I guess allow the ones who got kicked back in :)

I think there are still issues with CA, once my PC froze completely and I had to restart it. Not to mention diconnects when Alt-tabbing...

Hi there,

we from the JaBoG32 had had this problem with our server a long time too. After a lot of trials we figured out, that we had to much units (cars, tanks, planes, etc. ) in our missions. We had to reduce the number of the units and are now able to provide a more stable environment!

A Member of our Squad described the problem more precise here : http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=94953

hope it helpes a bit

Some Conclusion from red.devil fightercombatsims

they did a test run with 650 ground vehicles, 40 AI Aircrafts and 14 human player

Network speed

Every player must set his/her network speed to "LAN", no matter the real bandwith. Any different setting results in disconnections.

Random disconnections

Players with ping > 150ms were often disconnected as soon as they joined the server. Some of them can't even enter in cockpit.

Setting network speed to LAN helps a bit, but not as much as we would like.

Client Crash

We have had several client crash, usually with the common error explained here: 1.2.2 CRASH and then unable to rejoin server - LINK

Moreover clients can't rejoin until the server is restarted.
