Endy Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 @Endy the files are in the server Hope it will work. Awesome, thank you. :) If possible can you test it if you have FC3? I can also come a bit earlier on wednesday and see if it works. One more thing I remembered. Please remove the AWACS on both sides if there are any. If they're on you can pretty much see everything that is in the air due to data link which makes things too easy :) As for loadouts, I assume we can change weapons for FC3 aircraft freely? ECM as standard loadouts for both sides? Also, I know it's a preliminary list of people joining but on the day it would be nice if each side had exactly the same number of FC3 fighters to keep balance between sides in the air. I don't mind so much about strike aircraft but air superiority will be the big thing here. PS. sorry for all the ranting, I just want to help with my remarks :)
Daryl1586 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Can I have a Blue A-10 slot if there are some still available please :)

gregzagk Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 Hello guys! Just returned from work :) The Awacs are already off in Phase 2 ;) We checked the other settings you proposed and I think we will be ready. As far for the fighters loadout we thought using only semi active and Dogfight missiles for this Phase of the Campaign to make it more challenging. Details will be in today's briefing. Pls tell us if you are ok with this setting. We will try to have equal fighter numbers for each side. When the mission will be ready to start we will see if there is any inbalance and will try to solve it with 373rd pilots changing sides. I think we will be ok. :) "ARGO" DCS UH-1H DLC SP Campaign 373vFS DCS World squadron (Greece) - www.buddyspike.net "ARGO 2.0 Project Phoenix" UH-1H DLC Campaign - WIP
Endy Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Awesome job guys, really nice to see you work hard on improving the gameplay :) As for fighter loadout I'd suggest one for Su27s as a pretty standard one 4xR27ER, 2xR27ET, 2xR73 and 1xECM (since the F15 has it by default as well). Though if you take away the ET's and replace them with ER's I'm ok with it as well. I guess it will be more even if Blues have only Aim7's and Aim'9s :) Ah, one more thing I remembered though I can't remember if we said it during the first mission. I'd suggest disabling CBU's for A10's. Not only that one can take out a bunch of tanks or other vehicles but it will also bring down the fps of every person on the server, which is not cool :)
mwd2 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 gregzagk, do you have rename the TS channels, so that everyone can setup the keybinds to the fighter, helicoper, A-10C flights etc. pp.? And as last week, every client should set to LAN? Butcher59 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 good evening gentleman, OUR first participation was really fun. It was a very interesting mission. We could find out our limits and get a feeling of what is to fly a campaign whith human pilots. What we missed was the limit of communication. Problably we are spoiled with TARS and the possibility of speeking with whomever we like to, but we need definitely a chance to do exactly this! We need at minimum a Ground Commander or JTAC and we need a possibility to request air support. In know too the limits of FC3, but we have to find out a solution for this. Spanker79 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 The yesterday's mission was awesome!!!It was really exciting to fly with all these human pilots and try to coordinate all these flights..The only problem was that the latest update f@#@d up the mission and the blue F-15's couldn't take other missiles than Aim-9P, as the SU-27's could take even 27ER!! But that's not the point..The point is that personally i had so much fun i am looking forward for the next fase of the campaign..I hope we will be more pilots next time..Every syggestion you have about making the missions even more exciting feel free to say it... Until next time guys!!! ◈ Lock-On Greece / DCS World Greece http://lockon-greece.forumotion.net/ 1st Hellinic Virtual Squadron for Flaming Cliffs & DCS World ~ Flying since 2008 ~
Endy Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 It was an awesome evening. I'm really glad the server was stable and the framerates very playable. Also happy to see the whole concept evolve all the time. @JaBoG32T Butcher You can set up whisperlists and hotkeys on Teamspeak to contact different channels, for example as ground commander last week I had set the hotkeys to speak to different squadrons individually. You can also set your list to be able to speak to the commander, air support, other KA squadron etc. Works the same as TARS this way, you speak to different channels separately and without having to leave your channel, except that you don't get simulated radio range and a nice sound effect :) And you'll be able to ask for air cover, new directions from the commander etc. If you need help setting up the whisper lists next time just give me a shout. Anyway, great fun yesterday and I look forward towards next wednesday :) Unless you want to test the mission earlier so just let me know when and I'll come.
Endy Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 I'd really also like to see the ACMI file if anyone has it. Ah, and we were missing the ground commander for most of the evening yesterday... I hope we can have one next week. This is really necessary for the scenario to be better for all participants.
gregzagk Posted November 15, 2012 Author Posted November 15, 2012 I will try to upload it tonight :) Thanks guys for joining.
