Quick question guys. I'm just getting into the Hornet, I armed up prior to a cold start. I then used the auto start to get going. When it was done my master caution was on and the BIT page was saying there was a bunch of stuff like sensors not ready. After start up is there something you have to load, similar to the A-10C?

You really should do the cold start training mission that cames with the Hornet ... if you want a more detailed mission, you can try mine instead:

1.double tap master caution to clear and restack your advisories.

2.press "stop" on bit page (DDI pushbutton #10)

hornet is WIP the bit page has basically zero functionality right now.

Nobody likes me because I'm unsafe.

Take your time and become familiar with the startup procedure. There are checklists with steps in the User Files section of the DCS website, that you can place in your kneeboard and reference in-game.

As for the BIT page warnings, a lot of them are due to the fact that the corresponding systems are not 100% implemented. A certain BIT checks that certain systems are online and working as intended, so if they're not (because they're not implemented in the DCS Hornet yet), it's going to display an error. It seems that the BIT logic was completed already and is running these checks.

Some other BIT warnings are normal AFAIK (such as the CLC warning, when there is no HARM loaded or the ALE-47 warning when the dispenser is either off or there is weight on wheels) and will be cleared when the corresponding "issue" is solved.

I've done it, I was just trying to play with some of the toys, I'm not comfortable doing a full startup on my own yet

Best way to learn it is to do it all the time. Make your own checklist so you understand it.
