Nice surprise to have some of the WWII units now free for all. I understand that the idea is probably to give users a better glimpse of DCS WWII with their aircraft module, but especially the Flaks could be very useful for post-war and modern scenarios.

It would therefore be nice to have a "modern" crew avaialble for the guns. Could be generic Blue/Red/Insurgent type crew (like we have on the ZSU guns) or at least just one very generic "neutral" PMC type crew that would fit in any side and any era.

Thanks.

While I'd say while probably a low-priority thing, it's definitely a nice-to-have, maybe not so much for the vehicles IMO, but definitely for the AAA.

You are absolutely right. I'm on stable and haven't even looked at the included vehicles, so i'm not sure how valid these are for post-war scenarios anyway (i think the german Flak could - with some artisctic freedom - act as a stand-in for sovjet big caliber AAA).

On the other hand - if those assets were authored with modularity in mind (which i assume they were) than switching out the crew should be doable by config only and the only real work would be to create said generic crew models to replace the vintage ones.

Of course it would be nice to have post-war crew on all WWII stuff, where it would make sense: This would be timeless pieces like the willys jeep, the usarmy truck (forgot type) and similar...

This would immensly help with post-war / early cold war scenarios...

I'm on stable too ;)

As far as I know, the Bofors 40mm and 37mm M1 were definitely in service post-war, though I might be wrong. Flak 18s could definitely stand-in until we get proper Soviet AAA such as the KS-19 and KS-30.
