mytai01 Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 I don't know if any needs to be told this, but it's super important to backup your DCS files in the Saved Games Folder! You should find it in your User folder on the C: drive. If your drive crashes without it backup to another physical drive, you'll lose all your joystick configs, movies, ME files you made, skins...It's the most important folder to backup for DCS... 1 MS Win7 Pro x64, Intel i7-6700K 4.0Ghz, Corsair RAM 16Gb,EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, w/ Adjustable RGB LED Graphics Card 08G-P4-6286-KR, Creative Labs SB X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Champ PCIe Sound Card, Corsair Neutron XTI 1TB SSD, TM Warthog Throttle & Stick, TM TPR Pedels, Oculus Rift VR Headset CV1, Klipsch Promedia 4.1 Speakers...

Do you mean that we should go to the DCS folder in Saved Games and copy it onto another hard drive, external or Flash or something? 1
splash Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 By default that directory is copied by history backup in Windows 10 but you need another disk to be safe.

Rickling Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 what if windows crashes your shit (like it does literally every other session - DCS's fault the other half) and you have to do a full reinstall every week? Are they ever gonna go back to letting us download their software from torrents again so it doesnt take a full 24hr day? Not to mention how inconsistent their server is. Constant drop offs. I have literally spent over 1000 dollars on this fucking program.
splash Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Where do you see this? In Windows 10 Configuration -> Update & security (I don't know the exact translation into English, it is the last option in the page) -> Backup -> Backup with file history 1
