If you have external views disabled and F10 set to map only, the Observer slot has no access to external views.

 

This was not the case in the past. Only way to do that now is to have a Game Master slot, in which you might mess up some units path if you missclick.

 

Can we also have neutral Game Master/Observer slots available in Multiplayer
