WelshZeCorgi Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 Not sure how the TTI indicator is supposed to work, but I noticed (I've only played SP with the recent update) that the TTI timer will often cut to 16 seconds. It will usually overestimate TTI and cut from 20-30 seconds to 16 seconds to indicate pitbull.
sLYFa Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 I see the same. TTIs are still way off for long range engagements, but now TTI is cut short to 16 once the missile goes active. i5-8600k @4.9Ghz, 2080ti , 32GB@2666Mhz, 512GB SSD
Naquaii Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 This is actually not a bug but rather a fix to make sure the missile goes active. As the TTI is inaccurate in some cases we made sure it went active as to give the target fair warning. (Still dependent on the AWG-9 actually seeing the target and painting it ofc.) We will be looking at more correctly calculating the TTI and make this stopgap unneccesary but as it's rather complicated it might take a while.

Thanks, please don't forget about this. :) Don't want to be stuck with this workaround forever :joystick: Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
