F9 key turns off Trackir5 and I need it to "attack primary and rejoin"

I tried doing searches in the forum and nothing comes up on this topic. I am flying the P47 in the Mission "Yardwork"

and I need to press F9 in order for the other three planes to attack the targets. Not sure how to solve this ?????

Hi. You need to edit your TrackIR profile and bind other keys.

I suggest using respectively Ctrl+F7, Ctrl+F9 and Ctrl+F12 instead of F7, F9 and F12.

Thank You Flappie,  I appreciate the help,  sorry it took so long to see this.

On a lot of MP sites, they want Me to use the F10 key and pick things that are not there.   F10 for Me only does the main Map.  I think
there may be two other F10 controls using alt and cntrl, but I never use them and dont remember. But they are not the ones MP sites want.

In DCS, F keys (F1, F2... F10) can be used for:

• switching views,
• selecting radio menu items

MP servers invite you to use the F10 radio menu item to trigger scripts (to display coordinates of a target, for instance, or launch an AI flight).

 

What you need to do is find the key to activate the radio com menu. By default, on English keyboard, this is the " / " key. If your Windows is not set to English, the key may be different. The attached picture indicates where to type on your keyboard.

 

Once you press this key, you should see the radio menu items. It looks like this.

I just found this after thanking You for the problem I had with overclocking and crashing.  I am so glad that I found 
this and I wish I could somehow convey to Eagle Dynamics that You should be given a big raise in pay for all
of the help and time You spend on helping so many people !!!

That's very nice of you, but I'm not an ED employee at all, I'm a consumer like you!

The "ED Closed Beta Testers Team" tag is misleading. It should  be changed to "Closed Beta Testers Team" if you ask me.

If you don't actually use the pause feature of TrackIR you can disable its use and prevent it from "trapping" the key. E.g.
