It'll fluctuate up to 20% based on what it's monitoring and what you're running. Below is with monitoring CPU, GPU, RAM, VRAM, and VRAM per process. Doesn't matter to me if anyone uses them or not. But I see people running 2-3 different monitoring apps. I never come close to 2% I am at 0.27 % reading with Process Lasso and in task manager 0.1 % as it is as much use as a chocolate tea pot. Monitoring GPU temp GPU usage, Core Clock Mem CPU & GPU %s and fan control maybe the VRAM monitoring is the killer. I have a spike here and there but not huge. Tested With DCS VR replays. Sorry OP for going a little of topic. Edited December 22, 2020 by freehand

It'll be a nice little "boost" for you. Yes I'm running it on stock speed, don't want to OC it, but thanks for the advide :). @some1 Thanks for the help!
Nahemoth Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Hi, Recently I have upgraded my rig with a 3090 and 10900K processor, and I'm trying to tune it. With some standard settings from different sources I have managed to get 45 FPS. But there is something confusing... At SS 100% (50% at global setting) and MSAA x4 it goes somehow well over PG. But if I increase SS to 150% and MSAA off, the performance is very bad. I didn't expect that 150% SS (over native resolution) could be a performance killer... Are you having similar experience?

I'm running SS at 100%. (Global and app at 100%). With MSAA at 2x. I'm able to keep 45 FPS locked for the GPU (measured via fpsVR). I have my CPU cores running at 4.9Ghz. Though I'm only flying SP. I think I will delete my open beta dcs and I am gonna install the regular one. I followed all the tips for better performance with 3090and reverb g2 but I can’t get it run stable on 45fps even with reprojection forced on and 100% and ss 60 on steam vr. The FPS varies from 38 - 60 on Syria map. I tries smoothing enabled disabled but doesn’t do anything. I have the settings on high with msa 2x visibility high and vsync off on game fast on nvpanel.

Consider asking in the winwing sub. I'm sure they will fix it eventually but I wouldn't know, I do NOT keep simappro running in the background, it's not needed. The only reason to do so, that I can surmise, is to synchronize lights. Which doesn't do much for ya in VR. Granted I'm not using profiles, and haven't needed it switching between F18, F14, and the various prop planes I fly in DCS and MSFS. But, my Orion 1 throttle would need recalibration to run with a collective so ymmv. -------- There are a lot of steps involved, setting up the G2. That's true whether you choose OXR or SVR. Having done both in the space of about three weeks, to me OXR is more straightforward and works better, assuming you start with a truly clean DCS install as per the instructions in the first post of the "quick start" thread. That first post is kept up to date so you don't have to wade through all 62 pages. Note, all the information in that post was learned the hard way... your "best practices" are right there In my experience, OXR and G2 play just fine with winwing. It's the only way to fly.
