If we get a downgrade to DEL ON

We should have the master caution FCES, and the "flight controls" betty warning 2x.

Natops NNC items ask you at some point if you desire to go back to CAS and to do so, you have to press the FCS reset switch.

Meaning that once you have a downgrade in Flight controls, you can go back to normal condition only with a reset, it will not do it by himself right?

Same logic goes for MECH ON

So if the FCS revert either in DEL or MECH, you will be notified but going back to CAS requires a pilot action?

Impressive experiment there. I’ve limped the Hornet home with some impressive damage-to include a wing missing-but hadn’t experimented with the FCS sub levels.

I have, about a year ago. I can't say I'm intricately familiar with Hornet's systems but the it seemed unfinished at the time. I kept pulling the breakers and ended up destroying the frame and myself. I did manage to land with the engines shut down. I was right over the field at 10k and did the Viper style power off approach. It worked. I think I was in DEL and had enough juice to bring it down, though... I don't think it's a thing to do in a Hornet.

If I get bored today I'll run through some creative setups. There might've been some changes.
