makosch Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 Hi Guys I wanted to see if anyone else was having this weird issue. I started creating a new mission and noticed that I was unable to add sounds to my triggers. I try to click on the open button but sadly the file explorer popup nolonger appears. I have even tried with a fresh mission....no luck. Does anyone have any ideas appart from reinstalling? cheers Oli
toutenglisse Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 This function works normally on my openBeta install. Better than reinstalling you should try a repair ( run "dcs_updater repair" command in your DCS folder\bin\ ) but maybe it won't fix your issue IDK what causes it. 1

Sedlo Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 I had a similar issue that had to do with a corrupt .miz file. To confirm if that's what the problem is, try creating a brand new mission and add a sound file. If that works, the issue may be within your .miz file. If I recall correctly, I ended up opening the .miz file and manually erasing the line referencing the audio file. 1 My Youtube Channel MY DCS MISSIONS
makosch Posted December 13, 2020 Author Posted December 13, 2020 Thanks for all your replies. I tried creating a fresh mission but sadly no joy. I just finished building my new pc and install OB on it and loaded the .miz adding sound works again. Problem solved
