lharv71 Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Merry Christmas All It appears that aircraft are not doing a "progressive" planned climb to WP altitude? I have a mission with AI departing Incirlik with there first waypoint over Hatay and they (AI) will not climb until the end thus using great amount of fuel. I did turn off afterburner however can this be corrected? Many Thanks Oz

Are you aware AI units use the next waypoint's speed and altitude on their way to it? (ie. if you say WP2=500 knots @10.000 feet, they will fly 500 knots @10.000 feet from WP1 to WP2). ---

Flappie Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 I've tested this on the latest OB (2.5.6.60645) and I cannot reproduce your issue. AIrcraft do fly level for some time after takeoff, but then it start climbing at a constant rate. I've use the same altitudes for track 2, only with longer distances between each waypoints. progressive_altitude.trk progressive_altitude2.trk ---
