Strange "ripple" effect in graphics

Hello,

 

I am facing a problem with my graphics while playing, and I am viewing artifacts in the form of moving ripples. To be more accurate I attach a link with a video to illustrate my problem. I run a fresh windows installation with a 1080ti.

You can see the effect of the moving ripples more easily on the wings.

 

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

That's depth map shadows.  For something that shallow, it's unavoidable.  You can try FLAT shadow or higher shadow setting but may hurt fps.

Thats just how computer graphics work.

 

I have read about someone modifying some lua file in the game to increase resolution of shadow textures, maybe it could help. Cant find the thread though.
