I just updated the game to the latest version and all i get after the log in screen is black screen. once i do log in i get some error messages 

first msg is 

"Failed to get authorization data. Error code is: 
500
No saved authorization found."

after i click ok 

I get

Caucasus is not authorized to be used with your accoun

please provide serial number

I tried fix game and nothing 

i reinstalled the whole thing and same problem

if somebody can help i would appreciate it

I think ED devs have reinforced their anti-copy protection. It now requires a correct PC date and time.

And I have no idea why some W10 PCs have the wrong timezone configured.

@Flappie getting a pre-built computer will have setup steps in the beginning and one of the questions is not getting the timezone changed. there is also a slider in the Date & Time settings for "set timezone automatically" which usually does not work. especially when people are using VPNs. the IP will be from a different geo-location than the true computer location hence the wrong calculation of the timezone.
