Dopey Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 Just bought the P51 recently after played with it earlier during Spring free play period. Looking at some instruction video’s on how to operate the plane I saw that there should be a panel on the right side of the cockpit for IFF. Also, the switches for the oil and coolant scoops seem not to work. Only the safety latches move. Could it be that software is not updated after I played with it in Spring and now just bought it?
grafspee Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 Don't know about IFF panel but oil and coolant switches work just fine for me. System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor
Art-J Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 Right hand side of the cockpit is a bit different between D-25 and D-30, maybe you recall one while trying the other? Also, switches won't work unless battery power is on. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

Strange thing is that my RPM binding works opposite to the D-25 and elevator trim bindings are gone.

For some of the players, DCS tends to go retard when it comes to handling controls settings between both Mustang variants. Go to your controller files location (C:\Users\(user name)\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input) and check if you've got two folders over there with controllers assignments for both Mustangs. One folder should be called "P-51D", the other "P-51D-30-NA". If the former is missing, create it and fill it with content copied from the latter. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

Not sure how else to do axis tune per model
