Pretty sure it was reported in the bug list thread, so pushed here as a wish that it might be fixed.........or at least considered for fixing.

So after giving you the answer to a question you asked and subsequent lack of reply I am not sure of the motives for your post, is it unreasonable to post a reported bug as a "wish" to be considered for fixing ?

I did not want to bore you with my deep philosophy so I tried short suggestion but since you asked...

It may well be your wish to fix a bug. Most expect bugs to be fixed anyway and devs are obliged to do it, just no ETA on when they will. And there is a question if it is a bug or just missing feature - it might be working as intended.

I'll test current state of things and will report in F-14 bug subforum if applicable.

I posted a ton of vids previously confirming the heck out of this bug, it just hasn't been accepted as a bug, which means it can't be scheduled to be fixed, that is the deeper annoyance.

Out of interest why will you test and report in the F14 sub forum, this problem is not exclusive to third party content, that is the bizarre thing, it is a problem with content made by ED as well ?

Dunno about birds but, at least fixed wing aircraft can "damage" power lines now.

No damage take to the aircraft though.

I was just dropping in to update this very fact, beat me to it, I was doing some fresh testing to verify, very very very good to see,  I tested a few AC with positive results

For the sake of realism... that orange/red fire should be a blue/greenish plasma ball.
