F15-C Random Engine Shutdowns

Hey people

I keep having these random engine shutdowns in-flight. I checked my keybindings to see if i have more than 1 button to control engines on/off but i only have one on my throttle. I am using x56 rhino hotas and i assigned the engines to switches on the hotas. Does anyone have any suggestion why i have this problem ?

occam's razor says you are hitting the button to shut down and not realizing it

Do you get any "Right Engine Fire / Left Engine Fire" voice message? If so, it may possibly be a bird strike(???)... Does it happen in both engines simultaneously?

That's the problem right there. The device is known for its ghost inputs. Either connect them through separate USB cables or get some powered hub.

What are you doing when the shutdowns occur? If you are experiencing negative g's for an extended period of time, the engines will shut off. Also, there are other conditions in which the engines flame out. Do your RPM gauges drop to zero as well?

If you have enough altitude you turn off the failed engine(s), descent to get speed and ignite again.
