Hi folks,

I have a night mission where I have the Mercury LLTV pod and I can lock onto a target and get the AC notification but cannot get the LA for the Kh29T.

The only missiles I can launch at night are laser-guided missiles.

Looks like a long-standing bug for the Su25T

Any suggestions ? Am I missing something ?

Thanks

I'm not familiar with the Kh29T's limitations when it comes to low light conditions, but it has a TV seeker, not an IR one. I'm guessing that getting enough contrast to lock and guide towards a target is not possible at night.

The Kh-29T is not meant to be used in Low-Light/Nighttime; it has a TV seeker.

Also the Kh-29T does not correlate its seeker with the Merkury LLTV Pod, meaning the Kh-29T will not lock on if you use it. You have to use the Shkval.

One more question on Mercury LLTV, Kh29T and daylight condition. It appears LA does not appear even here. Is there additional relation between shkval and Kh29T?
