Bob1 Posted January 15, 2021 Posted January 15, 2021 Please open the sound file folder again to what it was before. Sound modding is near impossible now. I have spent a lot of money on your products and expect to have ownership of what I buy. You have effectively stopped an important area to modding. Simply a text file with file location reference is a poor replacement for the joy of soundmodding we used to have.

You should probably read §2 in the ED EULA. TL;DR: you have purchased a license to use a piece of software. You do not own the software. 2

Not so, you can still create sound mods ... what you can't do is simply edit sound samples created by ED, you need to provide your own samples. The EULA you click through everytime you install game without reading? End User LICENSE Agreement? That's what you purchase, a software LICENSE. All the coding, assets, etc are ED's property. They can do whatever they want with it, including summarily uninstalling it from your system and locking you out of parts of it. It doesn't belong to you. That said, as also pointed out above, it can indeed still be modded, just has to be done a different way. Де вороги, знайдуться козаки їх перемогти. 5800x3d * 3090 * 64gb * Reverb G2
