Depends on the campaign, but most of the time it is possible yes.

You have to open the campaign mission files one at a time in the mission editor. Find the player plane, swap it for the plane you want to fly.

Might be a good idea to copy the entire campaign folder before editing.

Ok.....

I copied the Campaign, opened the first Mission, managed to find "my" Plane and change it into the F-86F.

But it seems to be unpossible to save it.

Do I have to remove some copy protection or something?

You dont say which campaign are you trying to edit, but those that are paid are protected and can't be saved if you edit them. You can edit the free Campaigns that came with some Modules, and you also can edit most of the Campaigns available on User Files.

You don't save it - you just fly it after the changes - green button with an arrow on the left pane.
