Capn kamikaze Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 Eg calling Power power power after already in the wires, or saying it when you're on or above glideslope as per the ICLS.
Cocker Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 If you're on or above glidepath, but sinking, or with a too high AOA/low speed, that could be normal?
Stearmandriver Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 ICLS glideslope is not coincident with the ball when you're in close, and that's not necessarily unrealistic. Gotta fly the ball in close. But yeah, there are other comms problems / delays with the LSO. And problems with grading.
Andartu Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 In the last couple of weeks I suddenly get WO calls without any reason and within a second before touching down. It´s like: "Hey Paddles, it´s too late, I cannot wave off anymore! What´s wrong with you?!"
ex81 Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 It happend to me more than once: The LSO says WO when I already kept a wire. Seems that the LSO is something like an EA ? What goes up, must come down ! Intel Core i7-8700, 32 GB-RAM, Nvidia GTX 1060, 6 GB GDDR5, 1TB HDD, 1000 GB 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 SSD, Windows 10/64, A10-C, VKB Gunfighter IV Ultimate, Persian Golf, F/A-18 Hornet, Tankkiller
Fisherman82 Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 I have had AI-LSO-Jello calmly say "fly the ball" at the same time as he is pressing the button for the waveoff lights. Obviusly I get very bad grade. Feels like EA, hopefully.
Dragon1-1 Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 Comms are highly WIP. The LSO, in particular, has plenty of bugs, not to mention he's tuned for the Hornet, if you try to land a Tomcat, he's off. But yeah, he occasionally has some strange ideas about what you can do.
