Carrier - How to make helicopter/jet not take off (just sit on the carrier deck)?

I'd like to have some helicopters/jets sit on the carrier deck for 20 minutes before taking off.  I realize I can have just have them spawn there after 20 minutes to do that, but I'd like to SEE them on the deck until they're slated for take-off.  How might I do that?

Thanks!

you place the unit and tick on "uncontrolled", this will make the aircraft appear, but with no ai pilot on it. For this aircraft, click on its triggered actions tab and add a "start" action.  Then you use a trigger to Push AI this task whenever you need: after an Elapsed time, or any other condition you want.

For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra

For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar

"Start En-route Task"?

or

"Perform Take >> Start"

Where do I add the timing?

Here you can see where I add the Start command for each aircraft, on this sample there are three Hornets (on the editor they appear one on top of each other):

The activation, on this sample is to activate one when 60 seconds of the mission time have lapsed, the 2nd at 120 sec and the last at 180 sec .. I use a Trigger for this part:

You can distinguish the unactivated aircrafts by noting that they have no pilot on them .. on this pic the background F-18 has just activated, while the foremost one is not yet active:

I'm attaching a sample mission where you can see how it works.

Best regards,

OMG, that is so incredibly kind of you.  Thank you so much!  This helps immeasurably.  I wasn't able to figure out what you meant earlier, so this is perfect.

Cheers!
