I did that there was an update but the campaign is the way it was. I still cannot get into the task manager and be able to switch the tasks. And the icon are the same as they where not X with a circle around them as in the video.

I did the update. Did a system reboot even restarted the campaign it is still the way it was before. Cannot get in to assign individual tasks. Also I changed the labels in the options from full to dot. but in the campaign they are still full. So that change had no effect. Waiting for your reply. Thank you.

Hi, please check the new manual or the instructions in the map (blue letters in the mission planner). You don't have to assign tasks anymore through the mission planner.

You can change payload, design your waypoints and once ready you can jump into your cockpit and assign tasks from there. There is a dialogue that will guide you.

We had to change the process as the zones would not be visible for you.

Les us know once it works out for you.

Greg

Hi,

I just tried Mission 1 and I wanted to refuel. When my wingman just collided with me...

Do we have to use DCS Comm for refuelling ?

You can order your wingman to hit the tanker. Through radio menu choose wingman->Go to..->Tanker.

Oddly I never see this message only the "do not skip" message when I'm at the point where I can choose to refuel. I'll try again later.

Once you choose the option that want want refuel a message will appear telling you that you can order your wingman to hit the tanker. Of course this option is a DCS built in option, you can order him to do various staff such as, go to tanker, return to base or resume mission. For this mission you need to order him to go to tanker.

Also in order to get fuel you need to tune to tanker's Freq and ask for refueling.

Thanks, understood. I need to double check but I'm pretty sure all of those options were greyed out, specifically the wingman option. I'll try again later this eve and see. So do COM1 and COM2 need to be tuned to flight and the tanker frequencies respectively for those options NOT to be greyed out?

Ok I went to have a look at the mission 1 in Mission editor:

image.png

It's in French but first line is: Labels -> Full

and 8th Line is Radio Assist: ON

Thing is I cannot save modification to the mission...

There should be a way to fix this, radio assist is really horrible for the campaign as it keeps changing the M channel of radio 2

Labels are ennoying too

Thanks for your purchase and feedback.

It's strange cause on my side it's free selection for Labels and the radio too.

I will go through again and re-save to be sure.

In the options menu game play tab in the welcome screen  change from full to dot. the ships will have full but the air craft and ground units will be dot. You cannot change it in the mission editor since the save and save as have been disabled.

Doesn't seem to behave that way for me. I already have "DOT" set in the gameplay menu but I see full labels for all objects, and given that "ENFORCE" is set in the miz that's what I would expect tbh.

Also it looks like in mission 2 (first dynamic mission) COMM1 and COMM 2 presents are inverted between the aircraft and kneeboard.

What kneeboard says to be COMM2 Presets is on Radio 1 and Vice Versa

Thanks fixed and should be available in next update.

About labels and radio. It's  only for mission 1 right? Or do you have full labels and easy radio in the second mission too?

I think it's a version issue as the latest that I have seems fine.

Thanks again

Ok I have a question. Doing mission 3. I am to destroy a munitions warehouse belonging to a gun runner. Now the coordinates I am given at the end of mission 2 I don't think are the coordinates of the warehouse. The buildings I bombed look like appt. buildings. I maybe in putting the coordinates incorrectly. coordinates are 42 23 33.55783 N 42 21 15.75781 E. Now I take it that those are in the F-18 format. So in my flight computer I input 42 23 33.55 N 42 21 15.75 E Is that correct.  Also when I input the MGRS They do not match those coordinates ? Also why are we not given the elevation of the target? I input 0 not sure if that is correct. Please remember I am a Newbie.Thank you.

I tried the MGRS coordinates they make no sense at all. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Just a suggestion for us newbies it would probably help if the target was marked on the f10 map. We can find our own coordinates and head right for the target. This way we have no idea where we are going. Trying to find the coordinates on the map as the video shows is very time consuming and awkward if you are not that familiar with longitude and latitudes. I notice there is a JTAC option in the F10 menu. I will try the JTAC and see if the coordinates he gives me will take me to the target.
