Winterz Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 Simple question: What means the red arrow just under the 300l mark? I could not find the answer in the manual. Thanks in advance!
grafspee Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 I think K-4 has 2 fuel tanks it could indicate point when rear fuel tank is empty. Just wild guess. System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor
razo+r Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 That one seems to be an interesting mark. The rear tank contains 110l, and as the marking seems to be at 290l, it would make sense to place it there, as the main tank contains 400l. That marking could be used to indicate, when the pilot could activate the supply of the rear tank. But on second thought, it doesn't make sense as 1) you cannot oversupply the main tank and 2) in DCS, the rear tank is filled with MW-50 anyway 99% of the times. (perhaps different in real life).
grafspee Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 I searched through internet, i found that this red marking isn't Bf-109 thing alone. This one is from Me-262 System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor

grafspee Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 it indicate almost 3/4 of the tank cant be Fuel for rtb. System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor
grafspee Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 It could be some calibration mark as well, so when you test this gauge it should show this red mark. System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor
