I have enjoyed this campaign very much so far, and would really like to continue playing. Some help, please.
M4JOR H4V0K Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 Yeah mission 4 requires you to have the WW2 asset pack, not sure if this is a mistake but if not it should be added to the store page as a requirement.

Reflected Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 I checked, one of the ground unit soldiers got somehow reverted to a WWII infantry man (first infantry unit type in alphabetical order). Sorry about this, I'll submit the fix to ED ASAP! Here's how you can fix it in the meantime. 1) Go to Mission Editor 2) Open the mission: DCS World OpenBeta/mods/campaigns/F14A Zone 5/... 3) Find the unit on the screenshot. Slightly North of the player's spawn point at Nellis. It's name is 'sunkingblock' 4) click on it and change the unit type from Infantry M1 Garand to Infantry M4 5) Save 2 Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord

Unfortunately, the missing module also seems to prevent me from opening the file in the mission editor. I get the same error message during loading, and it loads an empty Nevada map. I realize that this being a paid DLC-campaign you would not want to have your files being sent around, but would it be possible if someone who owns the WW2 asset pack and your campaign PM me the "fixed" mission file (if anyone would be so kind to do so)? Last resort: I'll try to copy the mission files to the other "campaign" directory and play mission 5 to 12 as single missions, skipping event 4 for the time being. Matthew Flies Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Same here. To Edit / Open / Run the mission you need the WW-II Assett Pack. I hope there will be a different workaround or ED is able to provide a quick-fix.

And you just saved me from having to play an awkward (virtual) Volleyball match in the rain against Hammer and Dice due to being grounded. "Alright, Gentlemen, we have a hop to take", as the other Jester would put it. --> off to be humiliated again by the Red Air AI.

But Bio will explain this Oddly enough, compared to event 3, this one went very well for me: VID using the TCS, and the subsequent engagement was over quickly with zero losses for us. Maybe the training is paying off and I'm getting better in the A.

May I suggest adding that info about the TCS "shortcomings" into the mission briefing text for missions requiring VID? Something like "for an extra - and realistic - challenge, VID using your Mk1 eyeballs"?
