Wolf359 Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 Is there a way to transfer data from the air to ground radar (SEA mode) to the harpoon? I can't find it, if so. Right now, there doesn't appear to be a way to change modes on the harpoon; just stays in BOL. FoxTwo Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 I was playing around with it on one of the training servers and launched a harpoon after targeting a ship with SEA mode. You have to have a designated target to switch to R/BL mode.
Stearmandriver Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 And the designation in SEA mode is performed by SCS towards the radar, not via TDC designation.
Magnastro Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 in the Sea mode you must move the cursor above the target and press Sensor control switch right to lock the target then set the parameters you want on missile and fire. but i see another problem ( i think) 99% of my shots on anyone ship goes down by the missiles of the enemy ship..is complete useless..maybe some bug???

Wolf359 Posted February 2, 2021 Author Posted February 2, 2021 Yes, I lock the target just fine. I am blasting everything with mavericks. Looks like Wags selected the Harpoon PRIOR to locking the target up on the right DDI. I will try that to see if that is where I am missing it, because the ONLY mode I get is BOL currently. I will report back. Thanks guys! Wolf359 Posted February 2, 2021 Author Posted February 2, 2021 That was it! Select harpoon FIRST, then lock target, and I was able to change modes. Wiggo Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Why cant I change Harpoons mode? Nothing happens when pushing the "mode" button
Spectre VCAW-1 Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 You cannot change the Harpoon from BOL to R/BL without a designated target, whether that is just a waypoint that is target designated or a SEA target.
