Question on Kneeboard Extension

How does one get the Kneeboard Extension to actually show up in the DCS Kneeboard?

Have had a look at the manual and can't quite figure it.

I do use a custom kneeboard with Kneeboard Builder, would this prevent the Vaicom Kneeboard from showing up?

 

Edit: I can get one page, the main page of the extension on my Kneeboard but can not click on any of the tabs. Could it be this extension will not work in VR?

Normally you switch between kneeboard tabs using voice commands (see my attached image).

 

 

However and I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or related, but since ED's last hotfix, it doesn't seem to be working anymore. At least not on my end.

I think mine is something like "AWACS page", "ATC page", etc. "Show Log" and "Show Notes" still worked, but the other tabs were "page".

As @mudfysh says you will need to say Page at the end of each command (apart from the Show... ones) unless you have turned on auto browse in the Vaicom config options. This means you can just say Chief, AWACs etc but if you are on another Kneeboard page (for instance an airfield map) when a message comes in with information to go on the kneeboard, Vaicom will automatically turn it back to the Vaicom kneeboard page

Hello to all, After several research in the or forums, I find no answers to my problem. I have all the pro falcon keys and I can't show the vaicom pro kneeboard in Dcs in VR . I made all the parametrics ask and nothing, I have no idea anymore, had you a solution. Thank you Martuste

Can you see it if you are not in VR? What does the VA log say when you use the Kneeboard command?

In the VA log file, kneeboard orders work but no kneeboard vaicom pages in Dcs in VR and monitor appears in F18 or AV8. My radio orders are working. I don't see the problem. Thank you again. Martuste

@MartusteIt definitely works in the F-18 because I was flying that earlier. Have you correctly registered your kneeboard licence in Vaicom - if you go to the About tab of the Vaicom Config screen and press the black circle under list it will tell you what licences you have registered. Is Interactive Kneeboard in that list?

I can only get some of the pages to display with voice commands and the Kneeboard extension.

I was hoping I could display briefing that showed waypoint information that I could enter for programming certain bombs.

Currently having to use active pause and display the mission briefing from within the game.

Guess I will keep trying.

Hello everyone , for information, I bought the complete pack of Vaicom pro which includes all the key. In the VA log I can see that all the "speak" commands are recorded and transform into an active command, ie an ATC request ----> ATC answers in my F18. I noticed that in the VAICOM config we can activate the log menu, so I have the feedbacks written with the kneeboard commands and the problem is that it does not appear in my F18, it makes me smoke the brain :-D. I also had the same problem with the Interactive Kneeboard initially.  I was able to solve it by adding customs commands to VoiceAttack.  It did not like JTAC.  It was showing up as "jay TAC"...so I just added it.
