Apache Flight Model: Loss of Tail-Rotor Effectiveness

I would say it's missing due to amount of complex calculation that would need to be made.  Certainly possible in the future since now we have turbulence.

I wouldn't expect to see it in the near future though.

So in the Huey, if you lose your tail rotor you just keep flying? You sure about this?

LTE/Loss of Tail rotor Effectiveness doesn't mean the tail rotor gets shot off or anything.  LTE is an aerodynamic affect that occurs under certain conditions, which is described to a certain degree on the wikipedia page linked in the first post of this thread.  There are multiple ways to experience LTE, and LTE isn't always just yes or no, it can be a partial or complete loss of tail rotor anti-torque thrust depending on the specific reason(s) that it occurs.

Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man.
