i think all those B buttons are wrong. They should have allocated them in a 3x3 or 4x3 manner in order to replicate F/A-18/F-16/A-10 UFC (or whatever else they are called)

Don't quote me on this but I think they are based on the Russian Helicopter. So maybe for Chopper Pilots or anyone who likes them!

I was tempted by CP#1, and now CP#2, but, then I asked myself the question, what would I use it for? I mean I still have a bunch of binds available on the CM3 throttle!

Cold starts take a ton of switches, buttons, dials, etc.

Yep that is the same boat I am in, am very tempted to get the CP#2 but really not sure how I would use it.

Especially in VR. So far seems I have everything I need already set on my HOTAS with room to spare, at least for the Hornet which is what I am currently flying.

Hmm, I think it's needed even more in VR, as moving head around the cockpit to press buttons is a lot easier on TrackIR!

Yeah but no glancing at panels to see which button is being manipulated, all muscle memory at least for me.

You r harsh Imacken... Neck gymnastic only really needed on the first part of cold start (I do enlist the help of my hand to twist there).  After that all buttons are more or less ahead so don't require much neck twisting at all.  And frankly, trying to feel around the buttons to figure out which one to press just does not work for me  .

Ordered mine today  Think I ll use those latches and the closed flip cover switches as modifiers. This way one can use them to select up to 16 sub systems that should be modified. For example all the radios. If one turns the dials push function into modifiers too, one can cover 6 dials per radio... Think this will make some stuff easier in VR

My only concern would be how well I could reach out and manipulate the buttons whilst in VR.

My muscle memory only goes so far these days.

With a two multiplier you have quadrupled the available bindings.
