There are a number of inaccuracies with the current FC3 planes that ED has decided not to fix for what ever reason.

Can we expect that these issues will be fixed with the release of MAC or shortly after?

MAC won't have anything to do with DCS nor will it be FC3 level.

Yes, all accounts suggest that it isn't a development of FC3 and that it won't be DCS compatible. With no plans for selling an FC4 (and a seeming aversion to non-clickable products) - I think we're entirely dependent on the goodwill of the company to keep FC3 functional for free.

FC3 is still a paid DLC and we're entitled to access, use, maintenance and support.

Only because Eagle Dynamics is a relatively good developer which stands by their products. I don't think we're entitled to that under the law!

You may be right. The license talks only about the right to install and use, the rest is about what you cannot do.

Yeah, that is pretty standard - even generous. A lot of EULAs don't even guarantee that the software will run at all these days. It is how these things have developed - a fact of life, much like DRM - but Eagle Dynamics seems well intentioned and like they want to do a lot better than what is expected.

I know this - even if I've been irrationally annoyed at times by them ceasing the FC series. It is hard when there are only two combat flight sim companies - we tend to pile all of our expectations, hopes and preferences onto them!

Whole point of the online digital product sales being based in Switzerland is that it grants ED ability to write anything in EULA unlike if it was done from some EU country.

Now for example they may use this to protect themselves from refunding scammers...

I don't like the idea of no refunding at least for the first two hours of ownership starting at first launch with the new content and of course if the product is unusable or has game breaking bugs refund should be mandatory (and it actually is in a lot states, state laws are those that protect you) but in Switzerland it isn't 😄 and we all accepted it and must live with it.

It is like that on "paper" but without all that media, maintenace and support they would go down very quickly with broken product. Now their communication and work with community is much better than a few years ago so the DCS and sales grow.
