Normally there is nothing wrong with an option for users who don't like AAR for whatever reason.

Campaign creators are certainly missing out on revenue from those users. Maybe look at it from this perspective.

The only arguments I've ever seen against it are either "It simply can't be done", which it definitely can be, or it boils down to "Skill issue, get gud, suck it up and learn it, just practice, just use unlimited fuel if you want to cheat"

There's really nothing hardcore about AAR. Yes, there is an option for people who don't want to AAR. Don't do it, stop asking for crutches. 

The way I see it, the problem is in the today's enable culture where everybody must be able to do everything without even a tiny bit of effort put in. Sorry, I wasn't raised like this. If something is seemingly hard, I spend some effort to learn/overcome that obstacle and I become better. I didn't have everything handed to me just because I whined.

Keep pullin up them bootstraps partner   Seriously though nothing you're talking about here has anything to do with this and just falls back to the argument of "Git gud n00b". It's a computer game, not a disability pension.

Folks its ok for people to have wishes. 

 

At the moment we do not plan any AAR assist. 

In the future we hope to improve AAR physics for basket, boom and fuel line ( rope physics ) but I do not have any timeline for this as the team have many other tasks ahead of it.
