SOAR Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 My dedicated server has been running great for weeks. Then yesterday nobody can find it in the server list or connect via IP. I can connect to my sever box from my home and everything works fine. It just seems that the sever is not communicating with the ED master server. Anyone have a similar experience? I've triple checked every setting and nothing has changed. when I log into my user page on ED's website I can see my server is up, when I click on the server admin it shows the server as offline.
Wood Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I've noticed this with one of my servers as well. Cheers Wood Windows 10, Intel i7-6700 CPU @3.40GHz, 32GB ram , GTX 4060Ti
WipeUout Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 Same problem here. My server can be accessed via my LAN but not showing in the server list if outside the LAN. Tested if all required ports are open, also ping my IP from elsewhere and all is working fine. I also noticed that although my server is showing when connected to the LAN, there is no flag to identify the country of origin based on IP. Anyone has a clue about this? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 9800X3D, RTX 4090, 96GB DDR 5, MSI Tomahawk 870E, Crucial 2TB x 2, TM WARTHOG COMBO + PENDULAR RUDDER PEDALS, THE AMAZING PIMAX 8K X, Sony 5.1 Spks+SubW | DCS, A-10C_II, AH-64D, F-14/15E/16/18, F-86F, AV-8B, M-2000C, SA342, Huey, Spitfire, FC3.
Maverick87Shaka Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 Maybe it's not related, but check your DCS.log for the "profanity" filter event: code==415 - server name and/or description contain forbidden words. More info available in this thread: If it's the case, definitely report to @BIGNEWY to update the ban list, in the past some common words was added to that list. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted June 16, 2021 ED Team Posted June 16, 2021 Usually if a server is not showing it is port related or ISP related. Forum rules - DCS Crashing? WipeUout Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Found the issue. Port forwarding on my ISP Router was set for TCP only, it should be set for TCP and UDP!
