I think so, but still work in progress, lots of testing involved to be sure....

try this test mission in Syria with lots of western SEAD assets against a russian IADS (with HDS and 2SAP mods)

oh yeah and for some reason the launcher model uses 1-10 as the animations and so the #3 canister will always appear as not-spent because thats the animation nr for alarm state

 

but i am not affiliated with the creator(s) of HDS

The fact that the Block 2 was never produced will remain one of the most disappointing european defense blunders of the last decade.

Anyway, good job with the models. It's true that we never found the time to include the SAMP/T in the mod despite the models being ready.

We're aware of the issue and have had a pull request in that fixes it, however the actual update is awaiting some changes from others as well.

I found some french documents that have comparisons to THAAD, SM-3, Patriot and Aster 30 Block 1. From those I know things like: optimised for 20-70km, meant to intercept SRBMs and MRBMs endoatmospheric (up to 100km). It should complement THAAD and SM-3 but have a lower service ceiling.

My issue is that range is kinda iffy. Its a booster + sustainer + kill vehicle setup (modeled as booster + powered kill vehicle because 3 stage missiles arent possible in dcs afaik).

Currently its set up in a way where it intercepts Scuds 167km away.

considering thats its quite the big missile (450mm diameter) i think the range is fine but if you think its ridiculous i'd be glad to change it

Hi, I have made some test and I think that Your settings are Ok. But that is my opinion.

No crash on my side, may be a conflict with other mod.

and HDS. Authors were the same as HDS.

I'm not the author of this mod, i did an updated version of their work (merged with the "S300 pack" mod) which was functional after last DCS updates...because they (the authors) didn't, and i don't know if they are still working on it or not... I wish they are. That's why i wasn't ready with the idea of releasing my version on their topic.

I asked them here about it....but no answer...

It seems that there are a lot of people interested in that mod.

Thanks, I have Your older version, but was hoping for the latest merged version to include SAMP/T and SA-7.

Does this Mod and SAM sites asset pack (same dev) play nice with the Currenthill Mods? Which RWR mod do I need to see them on rwr?!

I believe Currenthill's RWR update includes HighDigitSAMs.

Hi, you have to use the "SR" et the "CP" from SA-11 group, the SA-17 TEL (BUK-M1) is a updated version of the SA-11 TEL (BUK)

Yeah, I tried that setup and the launchers will come to life and track the target for about 180 deg, then just returns to parked position.
