Game breaking bug

I just purchased this map yesterday and I couldn't get it work. Because every time when I go to the mission editor, there are so many countries missing, and so many planes are missing. Virtually no WW2 planes are available in the editor.
The worst part is if you go to the mission editor for this map, it will mess up all other map. When you go to other maps, all countries and units missing in the channel map will remain missing in all other maps.
This map is unplayable.

Did you perhaps enable the historical filter?

No, I don't even know there is such a filter.
Even if I did, I assume this historical filter should allow me to play WW2 fighters and filter out those jets, not other way around.

Countries will show when you click the button next to country selection drop-down, choose "all".

At the bottom of the Mission Editor next to the map selection is "watch" symbol. Deactivate that one so the units aren't filtered by historical timeframe. If your mission date is 2016 for example it shows only stuff from 2016.

This is the first time I installed a WW2 map, that's probably why the watch got activated.
