HungaroJET Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 What about "rockeye" for Mk-20s? You hear that all the time in Falcon. Is that one legit? Kinda like saying "Sparrow" or "Sidewinder", isn't it? Just a simple "Bombs Away" but if U wanna more specific say "Rocks Away" or "Spark!" :smilewink: Atop the midnight tarmac, a metal beast awaits. To be flown below the radar, to bring the enemy his fate. HAVE A BANDIT DAY ! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "When I'm working on a problem, I never think about beauty. I think only how to solve the problem. RedTiger Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 (edited) Just a simple "Bombs Away" but if U wanna more specific say "Rocks Away" or "Spark!" :smilewink: Interesting, thank you! :) What do the russians say instead of fox? In lock on they say missile away but I doubt that is accurate. OR IS IT? Hey hey! Good luck with this one! Finding this stuff out is next to impossible for some reason. We have a group of what are basically enthusiasts who have enough info to work on the Falcon series and you can find western HUD footage on youtube, but apparently no Russia or former Soviet pilot has ever bothered to tell anyone if they have calls for their weapons. :noexpression: The same could be said for A LOT of other stuff like their brevity code, ATC procedures, etc. The info is just not available. Ever seen those gents who do historical reenactments of ancient Roman legions? Even they have more info on that stuff than we do on some Russian and Soviet stuff. :P Edited September 28, 2008 by RedTiger
3Sqn_Sven Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 No, still Fox 2. If you're shooting it far away, 'Fox 2 long' will do. :) Correct. We just use Fox 4 as an in-house 3Sqn thing. 3Sqn - Largest distributor of Flanker, Fulcrum and Frogfoot parts in the Black Sea Region
Zorrin Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Fox 5? Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
