Mossie Radio Equipment

Just seeking some clarification, the current screenshots of the Mossie cockpit shows the Radio equipment, however I am confused as to what version we will be receiving.

 

A book I have points to the arrangement we currently have, which shows the R1155 Receiver and the T1154 which were only on the very early FB. VI.

As you can see this is what we have modeled, with a T1154 and R1155.

 

 

This is what was on the vast majority of FB. VI according to this book at least.

I went to an event hosted by the People Mosquito a few weeks back, wish I had asked the question then but I completely forgot.

 

It was a fascinating presentation, I learnt loads that I had not heard of before.

Ah, saw that on the US Amazon site. Pretty expensive book; at least $60. Worth it, in your opinion?

Would be nice to get some clarification on this as the news article specifically mentions T1154 and R155 which were only on earlier versions of the aircraft?

If we are getting an early FB VI then this leads to an even more important question, what engines will this Mossie use the Mk 21, 23 as used on the early examples or Mk 25 as used on the vast majority.

As long as we are talking about avionics, let us not forget about the air intercept radar.

Not applicable to this Mk. 

Some were modified to carry an ASV radar in a small thimble housing that replaced the .303s but if it's AI radar then the dedicated NF marks, the II, XII or XIII are what you would need.

If those marks are what we need, then let’s get one of them.  DCS would be, I think, the only sim to have nightfighters since il2 1946.  They could then make a nightfighter version of the JU-88, also.  Add a few AI versions of British and German bombers, too.
