reported Encyclopedia Bug Maybe.

After downloading 2.7 stable version i notice some of the encyclopedia entries show a black screen while others will show a brown like box before finally showing in real detail the vehicles like the BMP,s.Is this a type of bug or is my computer the problem.

Hi. Most of the time (I should say 99% of the time), Encyclopedia issues are caused by mods.

Disable (or remove) your mods one by one until it fixes the issue.

You mean third party mods because i don't have any of those,just the P51D and WWII assets pack.

Try a "slow" DCS repair, then.

i tried it but it's still not working,i did manage to write down the entries that have a black screen or don't show up at all. Leopard 2A6M,SAM SA-8 Osa LD 9T217,in the vehicles section.Mk-84P & T in weapons,all show up in a black blank screen.Then i have the SPRD-99 in weapons and Landmine in Miscellaneous that show the spinning town screen but the objects don't appear.

OK. I've just checked current OB: I get the exact same black screen for these units. It's a bug.

 

Leopard 2A6M got fixed internally but not the others. Many thanks for your detailed report.
