reported Cannot use custom cockpit

First this is not only in A8, but I do not want to spam every ww2 bird.
One can create folder in saved games and select in DCS under options the custom cockpit, however it is ignored once you enter the simulation and thus original textures are used.

This is already present for several months if not a year

Thanks I will take a look, do you have a specific custom cockpit you were trying?

I tried my own as none is available on dcs site since it does not work... followed the same procedure as I have some other pits which are working fine.

Hi, sorry for the late reply, can you send me a link to your cockpit, otherwise I have nothing to try. It would be best to try with a actual custom cockpit. Thanks.
