peirof Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 (edited) Another rookie question ... In the Hud I see this +1, which changes, from positive to negative, and I don't really know what it means ... I've looked for something in the manual, but I haven't found anything. Thanks Edited June 29, 2021 by peirof
Tusky Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 If it is on the left side of the HUD and it has a "G" next to it, it is the current G your aiplane is experiencing. A picture would help us understand what you are talking about though.
Swift. Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 The green circle is around the +3, that is not a G readout. It instead looks more like the elevation readout from your JHMCS, ie looking 3 degrees above horizontal. But the DAC is missing, so I'm not convinced its that. Its definitely not the G though, that is shown as 2.0 next to the 'G' in the bottom left of the HUD in this image. 3 476th Discord | 476th Website | Swift Youtube Ryzen 5800x, RTX 4070ti, 64GB, Quest 2
Tusky Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 What Swift says. I see that you have the HMD on (from the knob on the bottom right). When you look straight down the HUD with the HMD on, the HMD symbology is removed and only the elevation above the horizon is retained. 1
Bunny Clark Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 As Swift said, that certainly looks like the HMD elevation indicator, but the cross is missing.
