Hey all, just looking for some help with my mods. I have used steam DCS for a couple of years and just downloaded standalone open beta 2.7. added two mods and they won't load. I will attach a copy of my files and would appreciate any advice you may have. Thanks

I just want to add I have tried turning off my anti-virus when I started DCS.

My original install did not make a saved games/dcs world ob/ mods/aircraft folder, I put one in and it did not work then either.

It always does one, also are you on steam or the stand alone, beta or stable?

This mod is installed, I just don't have authorization to use it. The F14 is one of the free trials. I would just like to find out how to get the authorization.  I deleted both modules, ran the dcs file check and repair that is recommended then reloaded the A4. Still get the dlc is disabled error and it will not load in the game.

Once you have created the Mods folder in Saved Games and put your mods in, go into "config" file in the DCS Openbeta main folder within Saved games and delete any files for the A4 in the inputs folder. When you run DCS again it will recreate the A4 folder in "config".

The inputs file for the A4 from the previous install might be causing the problem.

The error they are experiencing is pretty much always caused by them installing it in the main DCS files.  Although this is still a good practice when updating.

There will be no A-4E-C folder in Input/Config until changes are made in DCS. As soon as the changes are saved, DCS will create the folder A-4E-C

This might be teaching to suck eggs, but just in case you haven't done it, make sure you have created another folder called "Aircraft" inside the Mods folder.

Hey Guys,

New to DCS and new to mods in general.

Trying to modify the “ViewportHandling.lua” file to change kneeboard size and location. Apparently have to use OVGME to do this. Anyone out there with a quick and dirty tutorial on how to do this? Thanks
