Opal 4-1 Posted July 6, 2021 Posted July 6, 2021 Not sure if this is a bug or its supposed to act in this way???? When I bind the coolant and oil radiator switches to my HOTAS, when I press any other button than auto, the switch ends up returning immediately to the neutral position when I release the button. By mouse I can activate the switches normally Please see the track below, I hope this shows the issue better than my explanation!! P51 Radiatorswitch bug.miz.trk
grafspee Posted July 6, 2021 Posted July 6, 2021 This is correct. You need to hold it in open or close positions. System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor
Opal 4-1 Posted July 6, 2021 Author Posted July 6, 2021 OK I get that, but when I click it with the mouse, it stays open?? No probs, time to learn to fly hamfisted whilst trying to hold my radiator open !!!! Lol!

Just clarification, if you push switch in to open position, actual what is going on, is that coolant door actuator start opening them it takes about 20s from flush to fully open, once you wait out this time, they will open fully and if you release switch actuator motor stops. So you don't need to hold that switch in order to coolant or oil door stays open. Flight you will not need to use them at all, unless automatic system fails.
