In recent builds of DCS Open Beta I used to be able to command multiple things for Iceman to do. I could tell him to descend to absolute angels 20, then tell him to go to relative bearing 30 deg right, and then tell him to increase speed by 100 kts. Iceman would be able to perform all three requests simultaneously.

In the current build of DCS Open Beta Iceman can no longer complete multiple tasks at the same time. He stops one task to perform the next one requested by the RIO. Should be easy to reproduce, but I can supply a track file if it's necessary.

You sure he was capable of that?

Here's a video from 2 months ago. You can see Iceman executing course, altitude, and speed requests from the Iceman menu at the same time.

In the current build he stops the first action you requested to perform the new action. It makes it inconvenient to practice back seat stuff, to say the least.

I think the same may have occurred with Jester. My experience has been the same up to now that during startup I could fire a list of requests and he would do them in order. The past couple of times asking him to change radio freq stopped him from entering a waypoint from the map. At the time I shrugged and asked again, but this does sound familiar.

Bumping this up, since it's still broken in the August 11th open beta patch.

Iceman can't execute simultaneous heading, altitude, and speed requests. He stops one to do the next, and then stars flying around like he's drunk, unable to hold an altitude or a speed.

i have noticed this too.

its a pretty big issue if you are in the back seat. if you want him to increase altitude and change heading, you need to wait until one is complete to order the another.
