Pay campaign for the Mig-21

Hello,

Hasn't a campaign been announced for the Mig-21? Which should be published with the release of DCS Version 2.7? Or did I misunderstand something?

I believe the campaign is finished and still awaiting approval from ED.  That is according to this post from the developer last month anyway.

Don't know. I wasn't expecting it at this update though. I know when Reflected submitted his and he was before this one. So, this one should be next.

It took a while for the F-5 campaign to be approved by ED, so I assume the same is true for the Mig-21. My guess is because they have lots of missions (25 iirc?), the process is longer than usual.

Hmmm…not so soon and no new updates. Not sure whats causing the delay but I’ve been looking forward to a good quality professional mig 21 campaign for awile. I also haven’t heard anything on the “constant Peg” mig 21 campaign that was also “finished and to be released soon” awile back

In fact, it says “released October 7”?? I bought it but not home to see if maybe it’s early release? Doesn’t look like i

Yes, it is available on Steam. I believe it was a bit of a mistake when they pushed it out. Campaigns usually are released on the ED store first, then on Steam. The campaign has some pending updates already. Campaign should be released fully and officially at the next update.

Yep. Playing it now. I usually skip the first mission or two when they are practice or “fly here and then here”. Mission 3 seems odd. 2 minutes after launch to escort a recon flight, I’m told “flight is safe, return to base”. So I flew to the “new base”, landed and that was it. Who knows

First of all. please post these in the proper forum spot: https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/801-sorelro/ . Although skipping missions is your choice and you can play just the way you like it. You are kinda missing a bit of a story when you do that. The first mission tests you on how well you can take off and reach high altitude. Having to blast at full AB all the way to 10000 m is always fun. Second one puts you in a bit of a formation flying, and also sends you to a range where you get to practice your rockets run and gun runs in high crosswind conditions. The third mission, is exactly that. You have to intercept and escort back a reccon flight that is being chased by the F-5's. And it's pretty much the beginning of the conflict.
