DCS Mi24P Hind 3d printed Aiming Station build

project is going.. should be done soon.

 

i am amazed my self.

i hope theres more aircraft that will support my joystick builds.

my minigun is dying to see action on a future DCS aircraft.. from Mi24 doorgunners to who knows a Ju87 or B25

 

for now this project was just to warm me up for projects i plan the apache (the collective and the TEDAC)

the build is done, im just waiting for encoders to come in to finish the front panel..

with the help of a hind driver Franze on the Hollo Pointe Server and @palerider37 from the wolf pack server, i was able to test the build and hit targets with the shurtm! 7 out of 10...

today i am printing final part..the front panel. guys gave me idea to add buttons for petrovich!

Sorry Hannibal, I am in Paris last few days. I would have been honoured to have been your Pilot! Congrats on the working controller!

Print completed this morning.. I'm drawing up wiring on paper.. I hope to finally finish the next 2 days. 

 

Button lay out includes VR controls on the right. Big red button is for the aiming profile command..switch above that will be observer on/off..  decided to have Xbox like layout for petrovich..

Two months later.. the aiming station is complete. Hope to make a video soon

You don't want him to drive you around. He's crazy. Last night he overflew bunch of T-72s, BTRs and ZU23 more times than I can remember. The kept pounding on him until they run out of ammo and then he swooped in and killed 'em all!

im not mass producing this thing.

if i find time i might put the files up to be shared after making a video for it

at the moment im working on apache stuff
