Tholozor Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 According to the NATOPS (2.21.12.4), a cross should be displayed in the HUD where the system believes the LOS of the HMD to be, which can be used to verify the alignment. Now that we have the alignment procedure simulated, this would be a great way to check for accuracy. 4 REAPER 51 | Tholozor VFA-136 (c.2007): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305981/ Arleigh Burke Destroyer Pack (2020): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/
Swift. Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 There should be a small cross shown in the HUD along the reported LOS of the HMD. During nominal operation, this cross should appear collocated with the HMDs DAC, but can be used to detect JHMCS misalignment by seeing if this cue is not aligned with the DAC. Track not supplied, not needed. 476th Discord | 476th Website | Swift Youtube Ryzen 5800x, RTX 4070ti, 64GB, Quest 2
