-sulan- Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Hi all! Have'nt checked back here much since the Russian version was released.. In order to start planning missions and a campaign, I was wondering if there is any new info about the mission and campaign editors and their features and possibilities? Like for instance a list of (and possibly exlanations?) of the triggers and events? :) Sorry if this has been posted and discussed, thx.
GGTharos Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 The english manual for the helicopter and the DCS editor will be posted in the future. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
-sulan- Posted October 31, 2008 Author Posted October 31, 2008 The english manual for the helicopter and the DCS editor will be posted in the future. Definetly looking forward to that!! :) In the meantime - are there any user reviews touching the subject?
GGTharos Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 I don't think there's anyone who's gone that deep into the editor yet :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda

Highwayman-Ed Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Can anyone who made the missions / campaigns for DCS:BS comment on it? I had a real love/hate relationship with FC's Mission Editor and now we don't talk very much, I'd like to think that the DCS Editor and my relationship will be a happy ever after type :D Intel i9-9900KF @5.2GHz MSI Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon 32GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR3200 RAM MSI RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio 40" Panasonic TH-40DX600U @ 4K Pimax Vision 8K Plus / Oculus Rift CV1 / HTC Vive Gametrix JetSeat with SimShaker Windows 10 64 Bit Home Edition [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
EvilBivol-1 Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 (edited) The new ME features a number of new functions that make it much more powerful and interesting to work with and these function will continue to be expanded. However, I'm afraid I personally can't say much for its user-friendliness. Edited November 2, 2008 by EvilBivol-1 - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. CAT_101st Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 The guy they hired to work on the ME was the same guy that built/worked on the Jain's F/A-18E ME. That ME weas easy and powerfull for its time. I expect great things from the BS ME. Home built PC Win 10 Pro 64bit, MB ASUS Z170 WS, 6700K, EVGA 1080Ti Hybrid, 32GB DDR4 3200, Thermaltake 120x360 RAD, Custom built A-10C sim pit, TM WARTHOG HOTAS, Cougar MFD's, 3D printed UFC and Saitek rudders. Vati Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 What I have read from the russian manual is a bit of disappointment regarding the triggers. As it seems they can only be used basically to spawn unit or message/sound. I really miss SBP kind of triggering which enables you to control unit after the spawn. A shame really, as ME is basically same as flanker 1.0 - unit is either static or moves w/o interruption. http://www.condorsoaring.com
CAT_101st Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Wags produces Jane's F/A-18, not the ME. Not sure what you are saying???????? Was wags on the Fane's F/A-18 desine teem??
